State Directors

Denise De More is an attorney, information technology specialist and founder of the Mayflower Sampler Guild. More recently, in addition to her everyday professional role, she has taken a leap in a different direction and launched DDM Needleworks, designing projects for the needlework world. Author of the exhibition catalog, Needlework Samplers Wrought by Tradition, at Pilgrim Hall, and various historical societies textile pamphlets, Denise consults with historical societies on their samplers and lectures on sampler history, specific sampler designs and their origin. Most recently Denise orchestrated the creation of the Calico Dress for the Fuller Craft Museum in conjunction with the museum’s The Red Dress Exhibition.
